Applied Voices LLC

Applied Voices is a boutique software development company that specializes in creating products that blend the world of computing with people's senses in new ways.

Applied Voices first product, HT Professional Recorder, launched in 2009, is a voice recorder application for the Apple iPhone. HT Professional Recorder uses speech enhancement algorithms to permit a single iPhone to clearly capture human voices throughout a large room, making it ideal for recording board meetings, conference presentations, and college lectures.

HT Video Pro is a video recorder designed to capture school concerts and other events from a distance.  It amplifies sound, provides extraordinary video zooming capabilities, and stores videos in hierarchical folders.  HT Video Pro has also proven popular with appraisers, insurance adjusters, and others who need to carefully organize their video productions.

Applied Voices second product, uFlute, enables the Apple iPhone to simulate a Native American Flute. uFlute was the first instrument for the iPhone that was activated by blowing into the phone's microphone.   Additional products include Trumplet, uListen (an app that amplifies distant sounds), Egg-A-Sketch, and Paintball Palooza.  Applied Voices recently introduced its first product on the Android platform, Plutonium Recorder.

In addition to the iPhone product line, Applied Voices develops novel algorithm libraries that improve the quality of speech  captured at a distance. These libraries can be applied to address critical problems in a wide variety of markets, ranging from mobile phones to telephone call centers.

Applied Voices LLC was founded in 2008 by Dr. Andrew A. Berlin, who currently serves as President of the company.
